The Maturities Portfolio Quality Specialist for the Eagle One for Business and Eagle Gold product lines will assist the Eagle Lending Team and work closely with Credit Administration to monitor the existing Eagle One for Business (“E14B”) and Eagle Gold (“EG”) portfolios. The ideal candidate will have one year of banking experience and a basic understanding of commercial financial information. Attention to detail is also important.


What you'll do as a Maturities Portfolio Quality Specialist:

  • Monitor loan maturity report for E14B, a small business loan, and EG, a personal line of credit, alerting Eagle Account Executives and Associates of upcoming maturities, while being the direct contact for Credit Administration.
  • Work with clients to satisfy compliance requirement for all products. This will include monitoring, outreach, obtaining and evaluation financial reports provided to determine if covenants are met.
  • Process short-term maturity extensions requests for all products as needed if financials are received.
  • Assist with monitoring monthly FICO reports. Develop the ability to analyze credit reports, personal financial statements, and consumer liquidity statements. Develop the ability to spread business financials statements, personal financial statements, and individual and personal tax returns.
  • Prepare memos for the existing portfolios to be reviewed by Executive Loan Committee.
  • Review the covenant log to ensure receipt of updated financial information and on-going covenant compliance. Upon instruction from sales partner, notify borrowers and guarantors when reporting is late. Work with underwriting team and supervisor to set priorities, communicate status, remove roadblocks, and escalate red flags in the collection of reporting.
  • Identify process improvement ideas to improve service or create efficiencies. Maintain a handbook of processes, best practices, and procedures relevant to role.
  • Assist in identifying loan documentation errors and suggesting process improvements.
  • Assist supervisor and Eagle Credit on ad hoc projects. Performs other duties and projects as required or assigned by supervisor.
  • Be or become proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), OSI, AFS Level III, OnBase, Moody's, LoanVantage, and internal reports.

  • BA/BS required with concentration in business or finance preferred.
  • 1 year of banking and lending or database experience preferred.
