In Technology, we support First Republic’s employees and clients through the acquisition, integration and management of the Bank’s information technology systems and services. We drive innovation and explore emerging technologies so our people can be productive and focus on what matters most – providing extraordinary service.

 

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be a key contributor to our rapid growth by joining a dynamic technology team. Working on solutions for Business Banking and Credit Admin to improve processes and integrations using API’s, ETL or Micro Services.  This job requires someone who is collaborative and seeks ownership of solutions.

 

What you’ll do as a Python Developer:

  • Design and code custom software programs, ETLs, APIs and Micro Services to integrate best-of-breed technologies used by multiple stakeholders in Lending.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, security specialists and vendors on innovative solutions to complex business problems, using cloud-based and on- premise technologies.
  • Communicate with product managers, business analysts and end-users to deliver technology solutions that meet their business and operational objectives.

 

You could be a great fit if you have:

  • Hands-on software development experience with Python.
  • Hands-on software development experience with OpenShift is highly desired.
  • Software development with SDLC is highly desired.
  • Hands on experience with any SQL database is highly desired.
  • Hands on experience with Snowflake is nice to have.
  • Create build / package scripts for deploying applications using GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible and similar tools.
  • Experience using the Agile project management methodology.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence is desired.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills to provide production support of applications.
  • Communication skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

Job demands:

  • Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals; must be computer proficient.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and in person.
