First Republic Private Wealth Management is comprised of investment management, brokerage, trust, financial planning and insurance professionals within First Republic Investment Management (FRIM), First Republic Securities Company (FRSC),  First Republic Trust Company (FRTC), and Foreign Exchange. We offer customized wealth management solutions for our clients from a wide array of services including comprehensive investment management, financial planning, estate planning, trust services, endowment management and more. First Republic Bank Insurance Group Operations is looking to expand our administrative team. This position would be part of a highly collaborative team that supports a platform of regional risk management and insurance teams in key geographies. This is a new role where the growth and evolution can be shaped by a successful applicant.


What you will do as an Associate, Insurance Group Operations:

  • Administrative support of day-to-day sales and service for life insurance business line
  • Assist with insurance commission/revenue reconciliation and reporting
  • Smart Office data maintenance and reporting
  • Provide policy owner service/support as required by Insurance group
  • Address service related internal and external communications
  • General office work –mail sorting, scanning, filing
  • Perform duties & responsibilities specific to department functions & activities
  • Performs other duties & responsibilities as required or assigned by supervisor
  • Support overall operations and compliance of the insurance business line
  • Adhering to and complying with all applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to Anti- Money Laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act)


You could be a great fit if you have:

  • BS/ BA degree preferred (Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting) possible exception for equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of life insurance either from a sales or administration perspective is a plus
  • Knowledge or prior use of Ebix Smart Office as an agency management tool a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interface with colleagues, and providers
  • Strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), and client relationship management skills - interactions in person, over the telephone or via email
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Proven ability to handle pressure, multi-tasking, and prioritizing work at all Managing various projects to completion.
  • Outstanding skills using personal computers in a Windows-based environment (including Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy and consistency
  • CA Insurance Licenses must be obtained within first six months; Series 6 and 63 licenses optional.

Job Demands:

  • Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals; must be computer proficient.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and in person.
