With a staff of 215 and growing, Eagle Lending leads the way for innovation at First Republic Bank.  As the Western Region Sales Director, you be leading a regional Personal Line of Credit Sales Specialist team in our office in San Francisco's financial district focused on acquiring the next generation of clients.


You will be a key partner for the Sales, Marketing, & Product teams and will own a wide range of sales, strategy, and operations projects. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Credit, Marketing, and Technology to identify and act on business insights. The ideal candidate is skilled at synthesizing complex concepts into a simple message, getting deep into data to drive key initiatives, and fostering change through a collaborative approach.

What you'll do as a Regional Sales Director, Personal Line of Credit:

  • Manage PLOC Sales Specialists and Managers on both hard and soft skills, ranging from pipeline management to credit education to effective communication
  • Implement new sales enablement processes and identify technology features that will help the business scale efficiently
  • Define and drive analyses aimed at developing a deep and holistic understanding of business performance, growth drivers, and trends
  • Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to senior executives
  • Lead sales and revenue growth projects across the business from idea to execution


You could be a great fit if you have:

  • 8+ years of work experience in sales, credit, or banking at a consumer-facing company
  • 3+ years of experience directly leading people
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • MBA preferred

  • 1+ years leading people managers


Example Initiatives You Would Own

  • Create a sales planning process including annual planning and monthly/quarterly forecasting
  • Drive sales process improvement projects to optimize resources and enhance client experience
  • Develop internal and external talent pipelines to shorten the recruiting and onboarding process and increased sales efficiency

Job Demands:

  • Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals; must be computer proficient.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and in person.
