Workday Process Documentation Specialist 

 

We are looking for a document writer who can partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Operations and be part of a dynamic team focused on operationalizing our future state processes through knowledge articles, communication, training documentation, etc. This person will work with multiple teams to make sure they have what they need to be ready to adopt changes with our HR transformation effort. It is a dynamic, fast-paced role that will require great communication and writing skills along with an ability to hear the voice of our customers and translate it into the documentation and training that you are developing.

 

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Partner with various TA verticals to best document specific, sitation based scenarios including process and offers (Campus Recruiting, Private Wealth, Corporate & Technology, Lending, Sourcing Team etc.)
  • Assist with End to End testing and documentation of enhancements and/or errors
  • Create role based user guides and other documents that will enable TA Operations, Recruiters and TA Leadership to best interpret and execute roles and responsibilities
  • Translate process maps into clear operational hand-offs and train Talent Acquisition Verticals on those hand-offs (Sourcing Team to Recruiting Team to Coordinator Team)
  • Develop lower-level documentation (e.g., desktop procedures, FAQs, others)

 

  • Strong knowledge of HR & Talent Acquisition Processes
  • 2-3 years of training or document writing experience
  • Two (2) years hands-on experience in Workday, specifically in Talent Acquisition
  • Adept at creating Documentation artifacts such as User Guides, Process Flow Charts, Project Plans, Test Plans and other collateral for training and process documentation purpose
  • Understand how a process is designed and can partner with owners to develop tools for the internal teams to be ready to operationalize change
  • Enjoy documenting and writing knowledge articles, process handoff spreadsheet and tools and general training / communications
  • Ready to learn and can think from a the user s experience when designing materials
  • Self-starter who can proactively work across teams to understand process documentation and translate it into training and communication
  • Creative problem-solver who can develop thoughtful, innovative solutions to unforeseen challenges
  • Ability of managing multiple, rapidly-changing priorities, deliverables and milestones
  • Strong communicator has the ability to partner with people at different levels within and outside of the HR function
  • Experience with Workday, Smartsheets, etc.
  • Leading or participating in HR transformation effort
  • Experience with process documentation, training and knowledge article writing
