What you’ll do as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer:

  • Develop test plan and test execution activities. Participate in various design and backlog discussions.
  • Manage creation, review, and sign-off of testing documentation (e.g., test strategies, plans, test cases, defect logs, test reports) and ensure all test artifacts adhere to testing standards and audit requirements.
  • Design, develop and maintain a modular, extensible, and reusable test automation harness and scripts.
  • Develop, automate and execute test cases for API, UI, and data testing to ensure feature enhancements are high quality and provide an intuitive customer experience.
  • Identify and document bugs in usability and functionality.
  • Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Continuously improvising on tests, identify test gaps, and come up with ways to bridge those gaps.
  • Participate in CI/CD discussions, Automation testing, and release management implementation.
  • Interact with various stakeholders to execute product goals.
  • Provide overall QA roadmap and metrics for executive management.

 

You could be a great if you have:

  • 7+ years of QA experience in manual and automation
  • Intermediate Python development knowledge
  • Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, or similar a plus
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design and debugging skills
  • Ability to read and understand code and code documentation
  • Experience with automated CI environments and tools, preferably Jenkins
  • Efficient in writing complex SQL, stored procedures in SQL Server
  • Preparing documentation (Data Mapping, Technical Specifications, Production Support, data dictionaries, test cases, etc.) for all projects
  • Experience in testing ETL/ELT using Python, SQL (Snowflake, SQL Server, Mongo DB)
  • Knowledge of Snowflake and AWS a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with git source control
  • Experience with Agile methodologies a plus
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communications
  • Can design and implement new tests and test automation in multiple feature areas, while developing domain expertise in at least one Responsibilities:
  • Analyze bug reports and be able to act on those reports to develop tests
  • Work with the manual QA team to implement their test cases as automated test cases
  • Work with Devops to design and implement CI using Jenkins

A Plus if you have:

  • Financial services and fast paced environments delivery experience
  • Knowledge of Messaging frameworks like Kafka, Data process testing via Python
  • Some experience with information security is helpful

 

Job demands:

  • Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals; must be computer proficient.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and in person.
