The Financial Crimes Risk Management group consists of anti-money laundering, economic sanctions, foreign corruption, fraud, and corporate security.  Our program is designed to ensure protection of our clients, the U. S. financial system, and our country from illicit actors who exploit banking services with nefarious and criminal intent.  Our fraud group protects our clients and Bank from losses while the Bank’s physical security team protects our clients, visitors, employees and Bank’s monetary and physical assets.


The Corporate Security Protection Specialist ("specialist") is responsible for providing professional security services for clients, visitors, personnel, property and assets at First Republic Bank's corporate headquarters.  The specialist maintains a safe and secure environment by patrolling and monitoring the floors with open access, and responsible for security incidents. The specialist will also patrol, monitor and provide a visual deterrence to crime in the public area between our corporate offices. 


What you'll do as a Corporate Security Protection Specialist:

  • Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; inspecting corporate buildings, equipment, and access points
  • Contact suspicious people and ask for identification
  • Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances in private and public areas
  • Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers
  • Prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas
  • React as a first responder to any corporate security incident, and adhere to protocols of the bank security program
  • Contact law enforcement in cases of emergency, such as presence of unauthorized persons or those posing a public safety risk
  • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
  • Review alarm systems or video cameras, and operate detecting/emergency equipment, if necessary
  • The role and responsibilities of the Corporate Security Protection Specialist may evolve and change to align with the needs of the business



You could be a great fit if you have:

  • At least 3 years of security experience
  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to obtain CA Bureau of Security & Investigative Services guard certification at the time of hire


  • Retired law enforcement professional or prior military experience

  • CPR/First Aid/AED Certified

Job Demands:

  • Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals; must be computer proficient.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and in person.
