    The Analyst provides analytical and technical support to the Collateral Valuations Department’s governance and risk management operations. This support includes, but is not limited to: maintaining quality and consistency of data; designing and enhancing tools for the management of staff and third party service providers; driving process enhancements; and working with team members to develop and improve operational reports. This individual serves as a technical point-of-contact for related functions and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintaining/auditing a database of license and insurance information for a nationwide panel of real estate appraisers.
    • Designing and maintaining worksheets used to perform quality control of real estate appraisals and working with internal and third-party technology partners to automate the quality control process.
    • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to create performance reports and scorecard metrics for appraisers, other third party vendors and department employees.
    • Implementing process improvements, focusing on operational efficiency, to extract and analyze more meaningful data coming from our systems.
    • Troubleshooting and offering technical assistance.
    • Helping maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing date.
    • Running scheduled reports and creating ad hoc reports as needed.
    • Compiling data in response to request from process and regulatory auditors.
    • Providing other support to management and staff as assigned.
    • Performing duties & responsibilities specific to department functions & activities or as assigned supervisor.

    Qualifications

    Skills Knowlege and Abilities:

    • Data entry and validation.
    • Dynamic PDF document creation.
    • Project management.
    • Proficiency with Excel and Tableau data visualization tools, and ability to tell a story with data to deliver useful insights to the business.
    • Experience in statistical and analytical techniques.
    • Experience diagnosing organizational challenges and supporting the implementation of solutions.
    • Expertise in utilizing data from multiple sources to translate data and trends into strategies and stories.
    • Expertise in survey platforms and/or various data systems.
    • Experience building, modifying and maintaining internal dashboards.Experience leading process improvement initiatives and driving change within an organization.

     

    Physcial Requirements

     

    • Vision must be sufficient to read data reports, manuals and computer screens.
    • Hearing must be sufficient to understand a conversation at a normal volume, including telephone calls and in person.
    • Speech must be coherent to clearly convey or exchange information, including the giving and receiving of assignments and/or directions.
    • Position involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
    • Must be able to travel in a limited capacity.
