About the Role: 

The Eagle Lending Associate is a role created to recognize the unique and significant opportunity that currently exists to expand business and personal banking deposit relationships in relation to Eagle Loans. A key goal of the Eagle Lending Associate is to increase products per client for all Eagle Lending loan clients. Incumbents will be responsible to provide direct support to the Eagle Lending Relationship Managers (ELRMs) in their efforts to increase deposit and lending opportunities, as well as assist in producing opportunity reports for the bank's regional relationship managers and ELRMs. The incumbent will also ensure that all Eagle loan packages are complete in submission to the Credit Analyst group, and will help monitor new and existing loans in the pipelines of ELRMs. Eagle Lending's product suite includes:

Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Eagle Lending Relationship Managers (ELRMs) in the day to day activities in business development and Preferred Banking Office (PBO) support activities. Assist in managing ELRM's and PBO’s pipeline of transactions in process as well as vetting and completing initial analysis on new applications.
  • Incumbent will be responsible for ensuring service quality, supporting the ELRMs as needed. Goals will be directly related to the incentive program and will emphasize Eagle Lending production, demand deposits, money market accounts and building a full private banking relationship.
  • Associate will be responsible for providing data and reports as well as individual transaction information to ELRMs and PBOs on a weekly basis.
  • Daily client support activities will include delivering paperwork to prospects/clients, answering general questions on products and procedures, collecting completed paperwork and sending the package for processing, following up on missing documents with borrowers as well as answering borrower's questions about their loans.  Will also assist ELRM with maturities and renewals, as needed.
  • Provide direct support to ELRM in deposit and lending activities as well as support efforts at increasing products per client for each Eagle Lending loan client.
  • Work in conjunction with Eagle Lending team to assist with rollout of new Professional Loan Programs (PLP) by providing support for initial deposit and product relationship development/setup at inception. Meet with each PLP borrower to ensure clarity on loan programs and products.
  • Ensure that all borrowers are aware of First Republic Bank's deposit services, lending products and wealth management services/products.
  • Create and maintain monthly reports to track how often a client is contacted and the services/products cross-sold to each client, in addition to services that can still be offered to each client.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND/OR TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to work with a variety of different client-facing professionals and be flexible in approach/style.
  • Ability to build relationships with Partner firms and individual firm borrowers.
  • Passion for extraordinary service.
  • 2 years of business or private banking experience.
  • College degree (BA/BS) required, business/finance, preferred
