Seeking a Payments Direct Transmission Specialist to support several Direct Connect products at First Republic Bank, including Wire, ACH, and Reporting. Based in San Francisco, this role will be responsible for overseeing client implementations and support of Direct Connect products. 

Responsibilities

  • Implementation and support of Direct Connect products for clients, including Wire, ACH, and Reporting
  • Coordinate with First Republic sales teams and clients to discuss Direct Connect products, gather requirements, and provide product consultation
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal technology teams to complete new Direct Connect implementations
  • Coordinate testing of transmissions and resolve issues related to file formats and/or transmission protocols
  • Provide extraordinary support for clients using Cash Management services through either phone or email by utilizing vendor and internal systems to conduct research and track issues

Qualifications

  • Deep experience in payments operations, or other relevant operations experience, including knowledge of applicable compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Technical knowledge of enterprise managed file transfer solutions
  • Knowledge of SFTP and other file transfer or messaging protocols
  • Knowledge of industry formats including NACHA, ISO20022, Fed, SWIFT, BAI2, EDI822
  • Ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships with team, peers, superiors, and vendors
  • Strong project management skills to ensure each client implementation is executed smoothly and successfully
  • Previous experience supporting and implementing file exchange solutions
  • Passion for delivering extraordinary service
  • Strong customer service or technical service background required, preferably with 1-3 years of experience in banking or helpdesk
  • Working knowledge of common networking and encryption protocols
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Mac Operating Systems, Personal Financial Management software, Quicken, QuickBooks, etc. Internet and Internet browsers applications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Must be able to work independently, efficiently, and possess good organization and prioritization skills
  • Performs well under pressure
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
