The ideal candidate will be responsible to perform as a solutions engineer within the Risk and Compliance Technology organization. Systems areas of focus will be for Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) project and OFAC applications. The candidate will be responsible for leading all technical project deliverables including platform installation, configuration, unit testing, production release and post deployment validation. Upon conclusion of the production deployment, the candidate will be responsible for ecosystem maintenance and leadership including BAU enhancements, break fix resolution and remediation, technical evolution and roadmap development in support of the Business Partner direction.
The ideal candidate will possess a broad understanding of Information Technology best practices and processes across multiple technology solutions and domains. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience as a system engineer in various technology platforms inclusive of, but not limited to: Unix, Linux, and Microsoft operating systems; Microsoft and Oracle database environments WebSphere, Weblogic and Tomcat web server environments; Informatica and Microsoft ETL data movement solutions; Business Objects or Microsoft reporting tools.
Successfully drive the technical aspects of the CTR project to completion. Design, develop, test and implement vendor-based software installations relating to the CTR deployment. Design, develop, test and implement all inbound and outbound system interfaces necessary to fully integrate the vendor solution in the First Republic Bank (FRB) environment. Ensure all systemic and information interfaces are thoroughly identified, understood and documented. Promptly escalate issues to the project team and/or leadership team as necessary.
Act as the technical lead for the implementation of the CTR system, including end-to-end integration and system automation for daily operations. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the day to day technical operations of the CTR system once deployed. Work with Business Partners to develop and meet Service Level Agreements. Ensure appropriate alerting protocols are implemented to ensure ecosystem stability (balance and control, job failure, etc).
Perform as the primary technical liaison to the Business Unit and both internal and external IT groups in support of the CTR system. Ensure work demand is articulated, understood and prioritized within the CTR system enhancements queue.
Develop Data Architecture and lineage artifacts to clearly define the CTR data ecosystem. Ensure adherence for data quality and accuracy by developing a detailed understanding of the data and information movement practices utilized by the CTR system itself and the ecosystem supporting it (upstream/downstream dependencies).
Manage all technical documentation for the CTR ecosystem. Ensure timely completion of files, adherence to guidelines, and the accuracy of provided documentation.
Perform duties and responsibilities specific to department functions and activities. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by supervisor.
Responsibilities include the following: 1) adhering to and complying with all applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, etc.), 2) adhering to Bank policies and procedures, 3) completing required training, 4) identifying and reporting potential suspicious activity to the BSA/AML Officer, and 5) knowing and verifying the identity of any customer(s) that enters into a relationship with the Bank.
