BPM Developer, Bank Operations Technology, will lead BPM projects.   As project lead, deliver BPM applications that improve business efficiency while meeting the business goals.

 

Our primary BPM platform is Appian.  The position will involve team leadership and hands-on design, development, and deployment of Appian applications following best practices. 

Responsibilities

  • Day to day project lead, working with colleagues and vendors
  • Mentor more junior developers
  • Troubleshoot operations and maintenance tasks post go live
  • Gather functional and technical requirements
  • Provide demonstrations to business  throughout the entire project life-cycle
  • Design and configure process models, records, business rules, news feeds and applications
  • Ensure design alternatives are considered for scalability, maintainability, reusability of components
  • Research and raise awareness of new and existing features suggesting suitability to in-progress solutions. Advise on available shared common components
  • Work with other Appian teams to establish guidance around Shared objects and tables
  • Actively facilitating and providing guidance for specific suggestions on resolving the performance issues
  • Actively participation in Center of Excellence (COE) meetings to discuss and collaborate on topics and issues
  • Evaluation of various integration capabilities in collaboration with system architects
  • Develop expertise through meeting with internal SME’s on various system functionality to assist business users in development of requirements for enhancements and defect resolution.
  • Perform duties & responsibilities specific to department functions & activities.
  • Performs other duties & responsibilities as required or assigned by supervisor.
  • Responsibilities include the following: 1) adhering to and complying with all applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to AntiMoney Laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, etc.), 2) adhering to Bank policies and procedures, 3) completing required training, 4) identifying and reporting potential suspicious activity to theBSA/AML Officer, and 5) knowing and verifying the identity of any customer(s) that enters into a relationship with the Bank.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience;
  • 7+ years of experience in Information Technology.  Experience using .Net, JavaScript, SQL and web services desirable.
  • 5+ years of experience design and implementation of corporate projects
  • 3+ years of experience in an IT business focused role
  • 3+ years of BPM experience
  • Strong technical skills and demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to and use new technologies
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills; including experience analyzing business problems, identifying solutions and driving the team to the solution
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills; including meeting facilitation and experience communicating and presenting solutions for business problems to business stakeholders; including clear/concise documentation and verbal explanations of complex business operations to developers (Able to communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical personnel).
  • Excellent influence and negotiation skills

  • Experience with multitasking and to function efficiently in a high volume, high risk and fast paced deadline oriented environment.
