The Preferred Banker role is a sales and support hybrid position. In this role you are the deposit expert for the Relationship Managers’ client base in addition to being responsible for your own self-sourced sales goals. This includes sales presentations, cash management expertise, account opening, compliance and documentation, and transitioning the client to First Republic.
The Preferred Banker is responsible for assisting Relationship Managers in developing and maintaining clients by selling a full range of FRB’s products and services as well as developing a personal portfolio of business. The position is expected to maintain a professional relationship to encourage additional business from existing clients in addition to obtaining referral business. The Preferred Banker will provide ongoing excellent customer service using ingenuity to solve problems or enhance the banking relationship. Thorough knowledge of banking operations is required.
