First Republic Private Wealth Management delivers customized wealth management advice and solutions to a wide range of clients, including individuals, families, foundations, and organizations. The Client Service team provides middle-office support to help investment professionals and clients meet their financial goals.

The New Business Associate will support the prospecting efforts of a high performing Wealth Manager, with the primary job function of providing a wide range of research and database management support to the business development team. This position requires strong research skills and an acute attention to detail.

Activities include: researching qualified leads connected to current clients and lead generation, managing cold outreach process through Salesforce, and track M&A activity and market trends, as related to prospecting.





  • Execute research strategies and campaigns to map high net worth leads by identifying liquidity events and mapping the qualified lead network around current clients and potential clients.
  • Track significant stock sales, daily news updates, and market activity to source qualified leads and determine money movement.
  • Analyze fund performance and prospecting metrics to identify trends and recommend actions to management.
  • Develop solid understanding of client investment portfolios within the team’s book of business.
  • Streamline cold email process through sending emails and maintaining accuracy and standardization of Salesforce database.
  • Assemble biographical profiles of prospects prior to initial meetings.




  • Bachelor’s Degree with 1-2 years of work experience preferred.
  • Experience using Salesforce as a database and LinkedIn for prospect research.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to think and work autonomously.
  • Hardworking and able to thrive in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive attitude, with strong desire to learn and gain more responsibility.
  • Ability to learn new programs quickly and easily including: Relationship Science, CB Insights, and Pitchbook.
  • Comfortable working in an evolving environment.
  • Knowledge of Silicon Valley’s tech landscape a plus.
  • Understanding of basic modern portfolio theory a plus but not required.
