First Republic is looking for a Content Operations Manager to oversee operations across content development and engagement activities.

 

Reporting to the Director of Content Marketing, the Content Operations Manager will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team to manage day-to-day content development and content marketing projects. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented quality-focused team player who is deadline-driven and tech-savvy with an ability to present and influence others with confidence and ease.

Responsibilities

  • Manage operational aspects of the content development process from ideation to proofing, compliance approval, and publication utilizing Marketing Resource Management (MRM) tools BrandMaker and Workfront and Content Management Systems (CMS) tools such as SiteCore
  • Participate in the development of, and manage, editorial calendars supporting business verticals and targeting particular persona groups
  • Regularly evaluate, propose, and implement content operation efficiencies while maintaining the highest level of service delivery and content quality
  • Publish content to the First Republic website ensuring that article elements such as copy, images, headlines and bylines are error free
  • Confidently collaborate with technology owners within First Republic to increase operational efficiency, troubleshoot and resolve publishing issues, and make improvements
  • Measure content effectiveness by gathering data and analytics; make recommendations based on those results; provide reporting to a variety of stakeholders including the content team, marketing managers and executive leadership
  • Provide project management support for media projects, social media programs  and team initiatives

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree, Marketing or Business degree preferred; or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years minimum, marketing and/or operations experience
  • Experience with MRM and CMS required
  • Excellent Project Management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines in a cross-functional environment
  • Meticulous organizational skills and acute attention to detail is a must
  • Clear, confident and compelling communication (verbal and written skills). Ability to deliver presentations and influence others with confidence and ease
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (including MS Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
  • Excellent proofreading skills with focus on quality
  • Solid understanding of content and social media marketing best practices and trends
  • Intuitive and people-savvy, capable of understanding and navigating complex and nuanced organizations
  • Familiarity with marketing to an affluent audience is preferred
  • Financial Services industry experience a plus but not required
