This role is a newly created role that will report to Portfolio Managers of First Republic Investment Management (“FRIM”) or First Republic Securities Company (“FRSC.”)  This person will have responsibility for managing the day-to-day operations of a team of Portfolio Managers and Client Service Associates. These duties may include some or all of the following:




  • Providing direction and supervision to the Client Service Associates; helping to train them, prioritize their time and work, providing input and feedback to their Client Service Managers
  • Support the day-to-day execution of an investment management business; tracking the various client requests and action items that come in each day and each quarter, following up to ensure trades and orders are placed, helping to oversee the production of reports and other team materials, and ensuring the Portfolio Managers are focused on the highest priority issues
  • Help develop the longer term and more strategic plans for the entire team, including: supporting or developing marketing plans, managing the financial tracking process for the team, and setting or supporting the development of the overall team strategy and positioning.
  • The professional who fills this position will need to be able to prioritize effectively, execute in a timely and accurate manner, and provide a level of service to their clients. This professional will need to be a team player who knows how to work effectively across different organizational groups and within the PWM team.




To be successful in this role, this professional would have substantial operational or practice management or client service experience (at least 10 years).  Specific skill sets include the following:

  • Series 7 FINRA license
  • Strong execution and results orientation
  • Good work ethic
  • Demonstrated ability to grow in the role
