The Technical Administrator will work closely with the CTO to support the IT organization at Gradifi.  The Technical Administrator will assist with general admin for the CTO and the IT group.  Additionally, the Technical Administrator will maintain technical documentation, assist with QA when required, and handle simple to intermediate support requests.  In essence, the Technical Administrator is a technical factotum for the team.  This is a great role for someone looking to break into the technology field.  You’ll have an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of running an IT organization at a successful FinTech startup from an experienced group of engineers.  We’re looking for someone with a high degree of personal integrity who is detail oriented and passionate about learning new things.

 

Responsibilities

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organize, edit and generally maintain technical documentation.
  • Assist with the maintenance of Active Directory and Group Policy in-line with Access Control Policy.
  • Handle simple to intermediate (tier 1) change control requests.
  • Perform simple to intermediate (tier 1) help desk requests: e.g. perform installs, validate patching, build out machines, etc.
  • Assist the CTO with administrative tasks—e.g. organizing meetings, communicating with vendors, etcetera.
  • Administration of Office 365.
  • Assist with the ordering of equipment and the inventory of technical assets.
  • Periodically assist with manual QA.
  • Assist with recruiting. 
  • Assistance with technical reporting and analytics.
  • Proactively improve on policy, procedures, and documentation.
  • Security and compliance is a top priority at Gradifi and strict adherence to the policies and procedures of the Information Security Management System is mandatory.

 

Qualifications

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

  • 0-3+ years of work experience—preferably something technical.
  • Strong organizational skills and mastery of written English.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to administer and maintain Confluence.
  • Comfort in working with new technologies.
  • An undergraduate in MIS or CS preferred but not required.
