The  Product Manager will oversee the Card products for the Bank. This includes managing the entire product life cycle from the development stage to the launch.  The Product Manager will be responsible for: (1) creating and maintaining a strategic roadmap, (2) contribute to new product development as an impacted system owner, the product manager will also be responsible for managing Vendors/ service providers, product issue escalations, enhancement prioritization, client communications, sales support, Marketing and Banker Training. While strategic thinking and coordination are important elements of this role, this individual will be required to take a very hands on role with requirements, design, testing, deliverable preparation and other related activities.


  • Manage Card products and services offered by the bank to ensure that we maximize every opportunity to increase revenue while adding value for our cardholders/customers.  
  • Perform market research to understand needs of our clients and find innovative solutions to meet those needs. Look for ways to innovate upon the existing products by coming out with additional enhancements. 
  • Develop and implement a company wide go to market plan and work with all departments to execute.
  • Effectively execute against the roadmap and provide on-going support. Develop training plans for support teams, bankers and clients as well as update all collateral materials and documented procedures related to the product.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department on marketing activities for the product including preparing client communications and announcements.
  • Provide reports for management to review. (i.e.Penetration, Activation and Usage reports for Cards)  
  • Stay informed with the latest innovations in ATM/Debit/Credit Card technology.Keep abreast of competitive products, industry trends and develop/ maintain an intermediate and long-term product roadmap.  Roadmap includes a functional perspective of evolving features/ capabilities, consolidated view of related technology activities, and business case analysis supporting required investments.
  • Seek and pursue continuous improvement opportunities, system enhancements, state-of-the-art technologies and industry best practices for the business system applications.  Serves as the teams’ liaison and/or ambassador for assigned steering & working committees.
  • Working in a hands-on way, successfully manage and deliver projects. Provide leadership on initiatives, implementations and integrations, new product development, system upgrades, etc.
  • Given the Bank’s delivery of many technology solutions and related services through third parties, a significant part of these activities involves contracting, managing and coordinating vendor relationships and activities.Optimize the services of our partnered vendors and departments by effectively managing the relationships and their deliverables.
  • Provide leadership for all phases of specific projects to launch complementary products, make enhancements to existing products and address any issues.  
  • Perform duties & responsibilities specific to department functions & activities.
  • Performs other duties & responsibilities as required or assigned by supervisor.
  • Responsibilities include the following: 1) adhering to and complying with all applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, etc.), 2) adhering to Bank policies and procedures, 3) completing required training, 4) identifying and reporting potential suspicious activity to the BSA/AML Officer, and 5) knowing and verifying the identity of any customer(s) that enters into a relationship with the Bank. 


  • Must have a minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration
  • Knowledge of business software such as Microsoft Excel is essential.      
  • Ability to work across multiple internal stakeholders, business areas, and external providers to develop a roadmap and deliver high quality solutions (From ideation through to implementation.)

Mental/Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions; understand the meanings of words and respond effectively; and perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly.
  • Vision must be sufficient to read data reports, manuals and computer screens.
  • Hearing must be sufficient to understand a conversation at a normal volume, including telephone calls and in person.
  • Speech must be coherent to clearly convey or exchange information, including the giving and receiving of assignments and/or directions.
  • Position involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
  • Must be able to travel in a limited capacity.
