    First Republic is looking for an ambitious and energetic Small Business Lending Manager to help us expand clientele for our Eagle One for Business  loan product. Your role will be to create an effective sales strategy to seek new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales, forging strong relationships with clients and contributing to our long-term business growth.

    To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meetings sales quotas. You will use your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with clients, from first contact until you close the deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales service. B2B sales, marketing and strategic analysis are important aspects of the position, along with the ability to lead and develop a productive sales team. The ideal candidate will also have experience researching market trends, targeting relationships and using proven methods to develop our business strategy.


    • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
    • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the target market, contact leads and follow through to successful agreement
    • Align various stakeholders on the loan product strategy & vision
    • Promote the Eagle One for Business loan product’s services, addressing or predicting client’s objectives
    • Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients
    • Retain and develop junior staff into valuable salespeople
    • Partner with internal teams to enhance technology and processes to support the loan’s overall long-term success
    • Possess a strong understanding of the product, our competition in the industry and positioning
    • Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on competitors



    • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Lending/Development Manager, Sales Executive or relevant role
    • Proven track record of achieving sales quotas, ideally in the business lending/business banking space
    • BA/BS degree in business administration, sales or relevant field
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communications
    • Comfort interacting with individuals at all levels within an organization
    • Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment
    • Proven leadership and staff development skills
    • Team player
