    First Republic Bank is looking for a talented, motivated professional to join our Commercial Servicing team. As a Client Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing an extraordinary level of customer service for both the Residential and Commercial lending groups by responding to any inquiries, requests, and problems in a timely and successful manner. You will utilize your thorough knowledge of First Republic loan products to independently bring most client issues/questions to a satisfactory resolution, escalating service issues/requests when necessary.

    Responsibilities

    Additionally, you will:

    • Accurately and efficiently process financial and non-financial transactions to loan accounts.
    • Review loan documents, determine serviceability, and interpret loan terms for entry into systems.
    • Work with internal business partners at various levels to research and translate account information.
    • Work directly with clients to research items of various complexities while bringing situations to a successful and timely resolution.
    • Perform duties related to Standby Letters of Credit, such as cancellations, draws and reductions.
    • Perform duties and responsibilities specific to department functions and activities or as assigned by supervisor.

    Responsibilities include the following: 1) adhering to and complying with all applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, etc.); 2) adhering to Bank policies and procedures; 3) completing required training; 4) identifying and reporting potential suspicious activity to the BSA/AML Officer; and 5) knowing and verifying the identity of any customer(s) that enters into a relationship with the Bank.

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma required.
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
    • 2 or more years of experience in loan operations or related lending experience preferred.
    • Must possess strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Experience with loan systems such as AFS, CLO and/or OnBase a plus.
    • Familiarity with the following loan products a plus:
      • Term Loans, Lines of Credit, Commercial Real Estate, Construction Loans, Film and Media Finance, Standby Letters of Credit.
    • Proactive individual able to operate efficiently in a fast paced environment, especially at month and quarter end.
    • Must be adept at successfully meeting goals in a highly fluid work environment.
    • Quick learner and ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Must be able to quickly forge effective working relationships with a variety of personalities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Furthers the First Republic Bank culture and values.
    • Able to deal with ambiguous situations.
    • Process and deadline oriented.
