  • Overview

    Assist the Unique Assets Group with the following:

    • Receipt and set-up of Unique Assets and IRAs in First Republic Trust Company software systems
    • Gathering of documentation related to new Unique Assets and IRAs.
    • Monitoring and maintenance of the Unique Assets electronic mailbox-
      1. Receiving, setting up and processing capital calls.
      2. Receiving and posting checks and distributions.
      3. Setting up payments for expenses and invoices.
      4. Monitoring wire activity.
      5. Receiving statements and updating market values based on the statements.
      6. Receiving K-1 and updating K-1 tracking log and updating market values based on the K-1s.
    • On-going compliance, reporting and monitoring of Unique Assets and IRAs
    • Valuation of Unique Assets
    • Maintenance of Unique Assets Group files and spreadsheets
    • Assist in asset management and property management for Unique Assets (primarily residential and commercial real estate and oil, mineral and gas interests
    • Present reports and findings to Unique Assets Group and members of First Republic Trust Company
    • Estate settlements
    • Performs other duties & responsibilities as required or assigned by supervisor

    • Responsibilities include the following: 1) adhering to and complying with the applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to Anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.) 2) adhering to Bank policies and procedures, 3) completing required training, 4) identifying and reporting suspicious activity to the AML Officer, and 5) knowing and verifying the identity of any customer(s) that enters into a relationship with the Bank.

    Qualifications

    KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

    • Knowledge and understanding of the Trust business is beneficial.
    • Knowledge and understanding of real estate concepts and terms is beneficial.
    • Business degree or experience working with business entities is beneficial
    • Strong attention to detail required.
    • Ability to meet strict deadlines
    • Ability to multi-task and priortize job responsibilities
    • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
    • Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word capabilities required 
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • College degree or comparable job experience required

     

    MENTAL/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Vision must be sufficient to read data reports, manuals and computer screens
    • Hearing must be sufficient to understand a conversation at a normal volume, including telephone calls and in person
    • Speech must be coherent to clearly convey or exchange information, including the giving and receiving of assignments and/or directions
    • Position involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time
    • Must be able to travel in a limited capacity
