    The Manager of Cloud Enablement will lead a proactive team that is the central point of cloud governance and enablement, driving broad cloud transformation by developing standards, frameworks and methodologies through advocacy, community-building, training and certification, and organizational change management. This role will also be responsible for managing and leading the migration strategy and roadmap for moving workloads to the Cloud.

    The successful candidate will be a proven cloud and technology infrastructure thought leader with broad architecture and design skills and a track record of championing  and delivering on cloud transformation.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the Bank’s enterprise application portfolio migration planning and sequencing.
    • Develop business cases, value analysis, and total cost of ownership studies.
    • Create and manage artifacts for cloud services, reference architectures, onboarding, etc.
    • Manage relationships with cloud providers and other partners.
    • Provide financial oversight and management of cloud operation budgets, and/or show back to lines of business.
    • Onboard application teams and drive the Bank’s DevOps transformation.
    • Communicate and build community across the bank to further cloud adoption and organizational change.
    • Achieve results through others by setting and communicating goals and metrics, monitoring progress; providing ongoing coaching and feedback, and reinforcing behaviors that drive high performance.
    • Ensure transformation activities are aligned with the overall project timeline and key milestones, and are integrated with other work streams, as required.

    Qualifications

    • Executive or senior management experience.
    • Degree in computer science or related technical discipline.
    • Minimum of 5 years leading cloud technology architecture, design, migration, strategy, and operations.
    • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and client-facing skills.
    • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
    • Must be comfortable leading by influence in a non-hierarchical environment, where collaboration is crucial to success.
    • Applies a strong client perspective as a driving force behind business decisions.
    • Critical thinker who gathers and analyzes information from a variety of sources, develops and tests solutions to complex problems.
    • Experience with DevOps and Agile/Scrum frameworks.
