  • Overview

    The Learning & Development Analyst is primarily responsible for providing strategic and administrative support for the Lending Strategic Management team, primarily in the Employee Engagement and Learning & Development (L&D) spaces. This will include owning and deploying such programs as Colleague of the Quarter and Residential and Commercial Life of a Loan trainings. The Analyst will also utilize key employee insights/needs to identify and develop additional employee engagement and/or development programs. In addition, the Analyst will partner across Lending Services in order to drive software and platform development initiatives with the end goal of optimizing learning and job skills development. The Analyst will also support the People Development Manager in assessing and reporting on business impact of these programs up to senior Lending Services management.

    What are the essential functions of the job?


    Own and deploy existing Lending Services programs consistently and successfully to include:

    · Hiring Manager New Colleague Toolkit

    · Client Experience Onboarding training


    Own and deploy existing Lending Services L&D programs consistently and successfully, to include:

    • Residential & Commercial Life of a Loan Trainings


    Partner with key business stakeholders across Lending Services to build and deploy key scalable Job Skills initiatives, to include:

    • Commercial Loan Administration Training
    • Residential Closing & Funding Training


    Drive and maintain various employee engagement initiatives within the department, such as:

    • Quarterly Newsletter
    • Colleague of the Quarter/Year
    • Collaborate engagement communications/initiatives


    Leverage insights regarding employee development needs and engagement opportunities to identify, build, and run new programs as needed


    Consistently engage with Lending Services Colleagues to gain program feedback, benchmark ROI/Business Impact of programs, and work with People Development Manager to provide effective reporting around program success and business impact


    Perform duties & responsibilities specific to department functions & activities or as assigned by supervisor.


    Responsibilities include the following: 1) adhering to and complying with all applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, etc.), 2) adhering to Bank policies and procedures, 3) completing required training, 4) identifying and reporting potential suspicious activity to the BSA/AML Officer, and 5) knowing and verifying the identity of any customer(s) that enters into a relationship with the Bank




    Internal Contacts:

    Interaction required with individuals within the organization at various levels


    External Contacts:

    Frequent interaction with applicants for open positions within Lending Services. Interaction with external customers and vendors to ensure accurate and thorough analysis and effective problem resolution.

    Education, Experience, Training, or Certifications/Licenses:


    Required: At least 2 years of experience in corporate development/engagement


    Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree. 1 or more years of financial services experience.  


    Mental/Physical Requirements:

    • The ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions; understand the meanings of words and respond effectively; and perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly.
    • Vision must be sufficient to read data reports, manuals and computer screens.
    • Hearing must be sufficient to understand a conversation at a normal volume, including telephone calls and in person.
    • Speech must be coherent to clearly convey or exchange information, including the giving and receiving of assignments and/or directions.
    • Position involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
    • Must be able to travel as position requires.
    • May be required to lift 25-50lbs.
