    The Enterprise Collaboration team manages First Republic's social intranet. The platform, named Collaborate, is an ecosystem of applications intended to facilitate company-wide communication, drive colleague collaboration and support day-to-day business operations.


    We are looking for a Technical Project Manager who will be responsible for managing and overseeing the implementation life-cycle of the social intranet. Implementations can include ongoing product releases as well as platform upgrades/migrations. This position works closely with content, design, development, engineering, quality assurance and other stakeholders to ensure successful execution and delivery of each project phase. In addition,this individual will need to keep abreast of any external factors (e.g. system changes) that could impact delivery and appropriately notify, schedule and document potential impacts.


    • Create, manage and execute project plan for each implementation which can include hot fix releases, new feature releases, and platform upgrades.
    • Oversee and ensure the successful execution of all implementation phases which includes defining scope, identifying roles & responsibilities, mapping release time-line, managing risk register, preparing communications, facilitating quality assurance testing and deployment planning.
    • Serve as focal point between business and technical teams to ensure on time delivery and completion of each project phase. This will include ownership and active leadership of project kickoff sessions, daily project stand-ups, stakeholder check ins and lessons learned discussion.
    • Create weekly status reports to leadership team highlighting latest progress, identified risks and issues.
    • Contribute to the long-term product road-map planning
    • Perform duties & responsibilities specific to department functions & activities.
    • Performs other duties & responsibilities as required or assigned by supervisor.
    • Responsibilities include the following: 1) adhering to and complying with all applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, etc.), 2) adhering to Bank policies and procedures, 3) completing required training, 4) identifying and reporting potential suspicious activity to the BSA/AML Officer, and 5) knowing and verifying the identity of any customer(s) that enters into a relationship with the Bank.

    Key Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

    • Strong business and marketing acumen with an interest in technology.
    • 5+ years of project management experience. PMP certification preferred.
    • Understanding of enterprise web development. Prior experience working on intranet and/or website teams preferred.
    • Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Must be able communicate updates between project team members, stakeholders and executive leadership. Must be able lead effective meetings, provide project status and present on key topics.
    • Proficient in using MS Project, Smartsheets, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel.
    • High level understanding of content management systems and collaboration technologies. SharePoint and Jive preferred.
    • Ability to think and plan long term.
    • Ability to be flexible and adapt to any given situation
    • Ability to work under pressure in high stress situations with a calm demeanor
    • Experience in defining process and procedures to manage the implementation/release cycle
    • Willingness to work evenings and weekends in support of deployments

    Mental/Physical Requirements:
