    The Associate Investment Technology is responsible for the day-to-day support of the firm’s core Trade Order Management System (Bloomberg and MOXY) which includes responding to unexpected system outages/urgent needs during trading hours, and serving as a liaison between the technology teams (internal and vendor) and the business. Other major duties include managing data reporting and analysis projects, working with audit department and related requests, supporting NetX360 (Pershing’s custodial system), and designing/testing of FRSC Business Continuity Plans (BCP). The position must have strong broker dealer or RIA experience of 8 or more years in supporting applications and project management.


    • Manage reporting and data analysis projects/requests for business unit
    • Provide support during trading hours, starting no later than 5:30 am Pacific time.
    • Responsible for NetX360 system maintenance.
    • Build and maintain a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) that is consistent with FRB requirements. Testing and documentation are required.
    • Provide the monthly Pershing NetX360 user certification and proper level of system access for all NetX360 users.
    • Develop/maintain system documentation – cross-train users for backup roles
    • Interface with FRB IS resources to manage system integration projects
    • Ability to troubleshoot with sensitivity to timely situations.
    • Assist in various projects strategic and tactical as assigned by management.
    • Perform duties & responsibilities specific to department functions & activities.
    • Performs other duties & responsibilities as required or assigned by supervisor.
    • Monitor and evaluate day-to-day operations of Pershing systems deployed within FRSC
    • Respond to unexpected Pershing system outages and trading disruptions; serve as technical liaison and escalation point for FRB IS and Pershing support services for troubleshooting and resolution. Responsibility includes communication to business users.
    • Responsibilities include the following:  1) adhering to and complying with the applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to Anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.) 2) adhering to Bank policies and procedures, 3) completing required training,  4) identifying and reporting suspicious activity to the AML Officer. 


    • Experience of 8 years or more with broker/dealer and or wealth management trading systems and applications, as well as back-office operations
    • Strong systems, investigative and problem solving skills; Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and appropriate resolutions
    • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
    • Excellent written and oral communications skills and ability to clearly define projects, objectives, goals, schedules and assignments
    • Good organization skills with strong attention to detail
    • Deep experience with back office and trading applications such as NetX360, Advent MOXY, Bloomberg, Neovest and FIX messaging
    • Proficiency in MS Office especially with Excel
    • Knowledge of VBA and other scripting languages
    • Data analysis skills; SQL skills preferred
    • Programming: Java and .Net experience
    • High-level understanding of networking technology including Microsoft server environments
    • Ability to work effectively with business personnel at all levels as well as with outside vendors and contractors
    • Must exercise a reasonable amount of independent judgment under a minimum of supervision; proactive and takes initiative
    • Require strong interpersonal and organizational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.
    • Self-motivated with strong work ethic, honesty and integrity
    • FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses (preferred)
    • Bachelor’s degree (or other similar level degree)

    Mental/Physical Requirements:

    • The ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions; understand the meanings of words and respond effectively; and perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly.
    • Vision must be sufficient to read data reports, manuals and computer screens.
    • Hearing must be sufficient to understand a conversation at a normal volume, including telephone calls and in person.
    • Speech must be coherent to clearly convey or exchange information, including the giving and receiving of assignments and/or directions.
    • Position involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
    • Must be able to travel in a limited capacity.
