    As Deposit Services Training Manager, you’ll support the Deposit Academy’s objectives and goals.  You will help build an environment of continuous learning that is consistent with First Republic’s objective of maintaining a knowledgeable and high-performing workforce.


    What you’ll do as Deposit Services Training Manager:

    • Take complete ownership of Deposit Academy, Tier 2 (your responsibilities could be expanded to include other tiers).
    • Develop the training curricula for all deposit employees.
    • Serve as training manager to support and coordinate all Academy training initiatives for the Bank’s deposit employees.
    • Take responsibility for delivering key program goals and administrating the participant program, including tracking and monitoring participants’ progress. Establish and achieve the Academy best-in-class outcome.
    • Work with Human Resources to develop a certification program to accompany each training curriculum to ensure future success for all bankers and clients.
    • Keep up-to-date with all changes to deposit products and services and adapt the training programs accordingly to support the Bank’s goals.
    • Act as an intermediary between the Bank’s sales force, back office and other trainers to share banker feedback and identify enhancement opportunities.
    • Act as a change agent for improved Bank performance.
    • Collaborate with upper management to obtain information from all available sources to prepare the training curricula, programs and materials. This includes providing learning expertise; considering and offering alternative training design and delivery options; and supporting documentation, training, training assessment and recommendations.
    • Direct and guide designated training specialists, including other Bank-designated trainers or consultants, the Academy may need to use on occasion.


    You could be a great fit if you have:

    • Five years of experience planning and managing training and development departments that meet business needs
    • Experience and proficiency in training, development, evaluation, assessment and learning-transfer techniques
    • Extensive experience in developing and leading classroom courses, workshops, seminars and materials
    • Strong analytical skills
    • A client-centric mindset and the ability to understand and apply client-centric skills
    • The ability to translate complex or technical concepts into simple, user-friendly terms
    • The ability to be a team player
    • A commitment to provide extraordinary service and further the First Republic culture and values 

    Job Demands:

    • Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals; must be computer proficient.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and in person.
    • Must be able to travel as position requires.
