    Eagle Lending Professional Loan Program (PLP):

    First Republic partners with firms across various industries ranging from private equity and venture capital, to professional service firms from areas such as engineering, law, and tax preparation. The objective of PLP is to create, service, and support specifically tailored loan programs designed to fit our clients’ individual capital requirements.

     

    About the Role:

    First Republic Bank is looking for a driven and eager Operations Specialist to analyze, process, and prepare capital call and distribution lending requests for our Eagle Lending Professional Loan Program (PLP). This role will work closely with various key stakeholders across the bank which requires exceptional detail orientation, communication, and time management skills. Our goal is to provide flexible, responsive support in order to fund individual client capital contributions. We are a highly collaborative team with a can-do attitude and culture.     Responsibilities

    In support of our capital call and distribution requests from our Private Equity and professional service firm clients, the Operations Specialist will divide his/her time across the following areas:

    • Analysis & Transactions (75%)
    • Manage group inbox ensuring all capital call and distrubition requests are completed in a timely manner and with exceptional service
    • Process capital calls, distributions, and voluntary pay-downs as requested
    • Define parameters and build templates for each program

    • Audit/Compliance/Regulatory (15%)
    • Review loan documentation to understand requirements for capital requests
    • Review processed transactions for accuracy and compliance
    • Customer Support & Ad hoc requests (10%)
    • Ensure the successful preparation of various daily, monthly, and quarterly reports
    • Assist with other support tasks related to borrower level transactions
    • Perform duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
    • Provide feedback of processes and procedures in order to improve efficiency

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree required
    • Fund Accountant or Private Equity/Venture Capital accounting experience highly valued
    • 2 years of Finance/Banking/Lending experience preferred
    • Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
    • Must possess strong experience with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables experience required)
