    The Associate of Architectural Design and Development, reports to the Vice President of Architectural Design and Development; works closely with the Architectural Design and Development Team and Senior V.P., Facilities & Administrative Services, to design, develop and manage all facility projects for the Bank, including commercial tenant improvement for corporate office and all regional offices, new office and existing office remodel projects. This person must have the following skills, experience and capable to meet the listed job requirements:

    Responsibilities

    • Experience in commercial tenant improvement/remodel projects.
    • Degree from accredited architecture or design school.
    • Versatility in Vectorworks a plus.
    • Proficiency with Autocad. Other 3D CAD software a plus.
    • Construction documentation skills required with the ability to develop details for commercial interiors and exteriors, organize document packages and interface with regulatory agencies.
    • Knowledge of building systems, building codes and ADA requirements.
    • Experience on large scale projects a plus.
    • Must have the ability and experience in taking a project from inception to completion.
    • Must have project management & construction administration skills, experience in shop drawing and submittal review.
    • Excellent communication skills and presentation abilities to work with Team members, consultants and contractors.
    • Ability to clearly define projects, objectives, goals, schedules and assignments.
    • Ability to adopt design changes from Management.
    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, including the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
    • Traveling for work will be required from time to time.
    • Must be able to adopt flexible work hours.
    • Immediate availability preferred.

    Qualifications

    Mental/Physical Requirements:

    • 5-7 years' related experience.
    • The ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions; understand the meanings of words and respond effectively; and perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly.
    • Vision must be sufficient to read data reports, manuals and computer screens.
    • Hearing must be sufficient to understand a conversation at a normal volume, including telephone calls and in person.
    • Speech must be coherent to clearly convey or exchange information, including the giving and receiving of assignments and/or directions.
    • Position involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
    • Must be able to travel as position requires.
    • May be required to lift 25-50lbs.
