    The overall purpose for this role is to perform initial and annual investment reviews for all trust investment portfolios, perform initial and annual Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) due diligence for all managers on our platform, conduct quarterly exception monitoring and maintain watch lists for outstanding items. Support the team in improving overall investment process.

    • Conduct initial and annual investment reviews for all fiduciary accounts and coordinate with RIAs and/or internal parties to ensure procedures are followed.
    • Perform and manage initial and annual due diligence on all Registered Investment Advisors.
    • Prepare quarterly monitoring of performance, asset allocation, conflicts of interest, concentrations, account specific restrictions, and cash level reports and analyses for all fiduciary accounts.
    • Identify exceptions through review and ongoing monitoring, create, maintain and track exceptions on tracking spreadsheets and on watch list and correspond with RIAs and Trust Officers to resolve exceptions.
    • Assist with preparation of Investment Policy Statements for all fiduciary accounts in coordination with RIAs and Trust Officers
    • Assist with collection of supporting documentation and responses for internal and external audit inquiries.
    • Coordinate and assist with preparation of monthly Trust Investment Sub-Committee (TIC) and Trust Administration Committee (TAC) meetings.
    • Support FRTC Investments team to improve investment process. Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, best practices, etc.
    • Investor’s View, DocuSign, Sungard Addvantage, and other programs as needed.
    • Monitor and maintain FRTC Investments email inbox and calendar.
    • Scanning and filing of electronic documents and updating systems accordingly.
    • Perform duties & responsibilities specific to department functions & activities.
    • Performs other duties & responsibilities as required or assigned by supervisor.
    • Responsibilities include the following: 1) adhering to and complying with all applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, etc.), 2) adhering to Bank policies and procedures, 3) completing required training, 4) identifying and reporting potential suspicious activity to the BSA/AML Officer, and 5) knowing and verifying the identity of any customer(s) that enters into a relationship with the Bank


    Key Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • Minimum three years of experience in financial services
    • Obtained or pursuing additional designations (CFP®, CFA, etc.) is preferred
    • Sense of urgency, attention to detail, highly organized and strong project management skills
    • Strong work ethic, self-starter and results oriented
    • Able to work well individually and in a team
    • Proven problem solving skills, able to troubleshoot and address issues independently
    • Strong quantitative and technical skills
    • Strong PC skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Ability to multi-task is essential
    • Ability to travel to other locations where resources may be needed
    • Must have excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail

    Mental/Physical Requirements:

    • The ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions; understand the meanings of words and respond effectively; and perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly.
    • Vision must be sufficient to read data reports, manuals and computer screens.
    • Hearing must be sufficient to understand a conversation at a normal volume, including telephone calls and in person.
    • Speech must be coherent to clearly convey or exchange information, including the giving and receiving of assignments and/or directions.
    • Position involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
    • Must be able to travel as position requires.
    • May be required to lift 25-50lbs.
