    As a Wire Investigations Manager, you’ll draw on your subject matter expertise in wire operations and management to ensure that the day-to-day operations of the Wire Department and its employees meet First Republic’s high standard of service. You’ll ensure that the team operates at optimum efficiency, with strong and effective controls in place to protect the organization from any potential risk or loss. You’ll have the opportunity to promote, through action, First Republic’s core values and culture while motivating your team members to achieve their personal and team goals as well as those of the Bank. 


    What you’ll do as a Wire Investigations Manager:

    • Manage the workflow of the department to ensure that all transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with internal and external service-level agreements, guidance and expectations.
    • Address internal and external service complaints; work to identify issues and find ways to resolve them.
    • Maintain positive, open communication and encourage transparency with internal and external partners, including all internal departments and appropriate vendors. 
    • Ensure that the Wire Department adheres to all appropriate rules, regulations, laws, guidance, policies, standards and procedures issued by internal and external governing agencies. This includes ensuring that all internal policies, standards and procedures are maintained in such a way to keep the Bank in compliance with the relevant directives.
    • Work closely with vendors and monitor their performance. This includes escalating production issues appropriately and holding vendors accountable for meeting service-level agreements. 
    • Recruit, screen and hire Wire Operations employees as needed.
    • Provide individual coaching and performance reviews to encourage personal and professional growth. 
    • Create a succession plan in Wire Operations and develop the employees accordingly.
    • Execute on the strategies and action plans for the department, in support of the overall vision and long-term goals of the Bank. This includes providing support for projects and system testing as well as contributing your subject matter expertise as needed.
    • Communicate the departmental vision to your team members.


    You could be a great fit if you have:

    • A bachelor's degree or the equivalent of at least five years of experience in wire transfer processing
    • Expertise in wire operations and processing
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
    • The ability to perform under pressure and work well both as an individual and as a team member
    • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
