  • Overview

    First Republic Bank is looking for a talented, driven professional with strong communications experience to join our Lending Services team. The Change Management/Communications Lead will be responsible for defining and executing strategies for internal departmental initiatives and larger enterprise projects.  They will partner with Lending Services Management as well as other Bank business units in order to establish and maintain a comprehensive change management strategy.

    This lead will be responsible for bringing change management best practices and policies to specialized initiatives leveraging multiple communication channels ranging from intranets, presentations, newsletters, email bulletins, video, etc. They will be responsible for supporting concurrent initiatives depending on the specific goals of the department. Creativity, professionalism, and creating communication that is fun and impactful are critical to success in this role.


    Additionally, you will:

    • Execute change management strategies for multiple initiatives that may include stakeholder management, risk assessments, definition of role responsibilities.
    • Author content or coordinate the development of content (via internal/external partners) across multiple channels:
      • Staff intranet
      • Collaborate/Social Media
      • Email bulletins
      • Videos
      • Training presentations/materials
    • Lead the change management/communication efforts for a large scale initiative that requires coordination with multiple departments at the bank
    • Perform analysis on current change management/communication strategies across the Lending Services department and provide recommendations on how to optimize existing practices and communication channels
    • Act as an executive coach to the Lending management team to enable them to deliver impactful, consistent, and engaging messages to team members and executive audiences
    • Provide consistent and recurring updates to Lending Services management and other business partners
    • Responsibilities include the following: 1)adhering to and complying with all applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, etc.); 2)adhering to Bank policies and procedures; 3) completing required training; 4) identifying and reporting potential suspicious activity to the BSA/AML Officer; and 5) knowing and verifying the identity of any customer(s) that enters into a relationship with the Bank


    • Bachelor’s Degree and 5-7 years of experience in change management roles or internal communications
    • Degree in Communication, Public Relations, or Journalism preferred
    • Should possess prior change management and internal communications experience at a departmental or enterprise level
    • Ability to develop strategic communication plans, socialize them, and deploy them
    • Proactive individual able to operate efficiently in a fast paced environment
    • Creative individual that can bring together multiple experiences to solve diverse problems
    • Quick learner and ability to manage multiple initiatives and adjust to changing priorities
    • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
    • Ability to succeed in a team-oriented work environment
    • Demonstrated ability to work along-side and manage creative oriented teams
    • Able to quickly forge effective working relationships with a variety of personalities
    • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
    • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or other image editing software
    • Knowledge of video editing software
    • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Publisher, or other related systems
