    Team Overview:
    The Integrated Marketing Communications team partners closely with business units and project teams across First Republic Bank on internal and external marketing communications and collateral development. Everything from product and regulatory communications to client-facing tools, resources and direct mail falls within our scope. In addition, we provide copywriting and QA to ensure Marketing deliverables reflect First Republic’s established brand tone and voice as well as centralized standards and insights for products and services.

     

    Role Overview:
    The Marketing Communications Coordinator will assist IMC Marketing Communications Managers with a variety of external marketing projects, including customer acquisition and campaigns to deepen relationships with existing and prospective clients, client preference data, resource management and process improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to write and proofread, work under tight deadlines, is flexible and willing to pitch in, works well in teams and is open to learning about financial services.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Coordinate First Republic marketing mailings and client lists
    • Liaise with First Republic’s database and list management agency on client and prospect databases
    • Coordinate and manage First Republic’s collateral including printing, distribution and supply management (maintaining and ordering supplies as needed)
    • Update and maintain client-facing brochures in all offices
    • Announce updates and new marketing materials via Intranet Community Management
    • Assist with creation of campaign materials and PowerPoint presentations
    • Sit in on meetings with business partners and stakeholders to develop an understanding of the Marketing and Communications department
    • Pull reports and organize information to maximize learnings and share results with stakeholders
    • Write and proofread materials as needed
    • Help establish tracking and process improvements
    • Partner with compliance and Marketing Communications team to learn regulatory environment and apply learnings to new materials and communications

    Qualifications

    Key Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

    • 3-5 years of experience in a related role
    • Degree in Communications, Advertising, Marketing or Business is ideal
    • Must be detail-oriented, with an analytical and financial orientation
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Strong Microsoft office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Technically savvy – loves to explore technology and adapts quickly
    • Self-starter, highly motivated, analytical, attentive to detail and strategic thinker
    • Has experience working in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to coordinate numerous projects simultaneously
    • Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
    • Eye for design, layout and formatting
    • Can analyze complex problems and situations and is solutions driven
    • Collaborative and “hands-on” leader and team player who builds strong relationships internally and externally, and works well under pressure, thriving under tight deadlines
    • Excellent verbal and written skills, with a strong command of grammar, spelling and style
    • Sound judgment and impeccable discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information
    • Maintain a compliance and consumer mindset
    • Strategic thinker with a results orientation who approaches any challenge with thoughtfulness, drive and appropriate urgency

    Physical/Mental Requirements: 

    • Vision must be sufficient to read data reports, manuals and computer screens.
    • Hearing must be sufficient to understand a conversation at a normal volume, including telephone calls and in person.
    • Speech must be coherent to clearly convey or exchange information, including the giving and receiving of assignments and/or directions.
    • Position involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
    • Must be able to travel in a limited capacity.
