    Project Manager can plan, manage, and provide oversight of projects and tasks. The Project Manager (PM) shall primarily be responsible for project management for the Citrix enterprise VDI, XenApp and NetScaler implementations.  The PM candidate should have extensive knowledge of Data Center Virtualization, server upgrades and computer infrastructure. 

     

    The PM shall work closely with the technical lead, developing project documents, meeting with stakeholders\customers, providing information/status, receiving/documenting feedback, documenting issues, concerns, actions, risks, managing and updating the schedule, tracking the progress of project activities.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide project management and ensure activities are coordinated among key project personnel.
    • Coordinate and oversee all product Vendor contacts as needed.
    • Create and/or review all materials lists for the project.
    • Update and present periodic status reports for the project to the Project Management Office (PMO), as required, to include identifying tasks accomplished, progress on ongoing tasks, issues, upcoming tasks, and schedule and financial burn rates.
    • Communicate the project status, work closely with technical points of contact, develop presentations and provide project updates to stakeholders and team members.
    • Provide meeting support, e.g., scheduling, coordinating, documenting key program decisions/findings, tracking and reporting action items, updating PMO database, update documentation and generating reports as needed.
    • Track and report weekly basis current and anticipated risks/issues, along with prior week activity.
    • The report shall provide Monthly Spend Plan, Monthly Expenditure, Timeline, milestones, and Burn Rate.
    • All required notifications and requests for technical and management approvals shall be submitted to the project team. These approvals shall be documented and become part of the final Project Document.

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years of experience in the technical area to be managed, 2+ years’ experience in IT management.
    • Five (5) years’ experience managing, and providing support for projects and programs
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher degree
    • Experience with Citrix XgenApps is preferred, NetScaler-Remote connect knowledge a plus but not required.
    • Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification will be a plus.
    • The PM shall additionally have experience supporting information technology projects/programs and shall have a good understanding of the technical/IT elements (e.g., cyber security, risk management, networking, and enterprise architecture, etc.).
