    We are a data-driven team: data and analytics are central to everything we do and underpin all of the functions mentioned above. This position will work with the Bank’s leadership, regional management and sales teams to maximize the value of our data towards making more informed decisions, servicing clients and capitalizing on competitive opportunities in increasingly sophisticated ways.  

     

    The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial and collaborative with a sharp analytical mind and superior communication skills.  

    Responsibilities

    1. As a Quantitative Analyst, this role will work cross functionally with executive management, sales and analytics teams across the bank to drive and implement innovative analytical models, sales strategy and operational enhancements.

     

    You will work with sales teams independently and be trusted to rapidly develop, execute and implement custom and accessible solutions to fit their book of business.

     

    2. This role requires a sharp analytical mind and an entrepreneurial spirit. You will regularly define and solve new problem spaces at the speed of business. You enjoy quickly problem solving to come up with something that works “now” while planning how to collaborate with our engineers to scale it reliably as a core product. Some examples:

    • Develop predictive models leveraging a range of artificial intelligence and machine learning tools and techniques
    • Design and implement data-driven initiatives to manage customer relationships, drive sales, enhance execution, and increase productivity
    • Extract credit and retail banking transaction data, conduct exploratory data analysis to drive strategy insights
    • Use advanced analytics to assess portfolio performance, identify business opportunities, and drive critical business decisions
    • Design, development and deployment of self service reports, scorecards and dashboards based on analytical data
    • Design data-driven marketing initiatives to manage customer relationship, drive sales, enhance executions, and increase productivity

    6. Additional responsibilities may be assigned, based on department needs.

    Qualifications

    Technical requirements:

    • Strong working knowledge of analytical tools, such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau and Excel
    • Broad skillset in areas like statistics, math, computing, and quantitative modeling.
    • Strong knowledge of and experience in executing all phases of the technology life cycle, based on proven project management and testing methodologies.
    • Scrappy attitude with polished delivery

    Education/ Background:

    • A degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, finance or a related field; MBA or MS preferred
    • A minimum 2+ years of relevant corporate work experience working on programming, data analytics, quantitative modeling
    • Preference for consulting background

    Interpersonal Skills:

    • Ability to communicate findings and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders (both technical and non-technical audiences)
    • Ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment
    • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, decision making, creative and negotiation skills are required.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Vision must be sufficient to read data reports, manuals and computer screens.
    • Hearing must be sufficient to understand a conversation
