    This role requires a hands-on, communications professional with exceptional abilities to develop clear and concise content, and incorporate feedback from numerous sources, including senior leadership. We are looking for someone with exceptional organization and execution skills, who can manage multiple projects simultaneously while also ensuring that every single element ladders up to the larger corporate narrative and objectives. The ideal candidate will be skilled in project management, content creation, executive, client and internal communications.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage internal processes for all communications activities and deliver on communications needs for the department (e.g. newsletters, all team meetings, large-scale emails, etc.)
    • Work cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g. Marketing, Compliance) to develop and execute client and internal communications programs designed to drive company goals
    • Maintain communication calendar and ensure all parties involved in production of content are organized, aligned and on target
    • Create original content and execute timely revisions to senior-level strategic presentations on an on-going basis
    • Manage materials including strategic plans, product documents, and reactive response statements
    • Review and copy-edit materials for typographical and graphic consistency
    • Partner with product and project managers to identify communication requirements for product launches
    • Oversee and administer large-scale email campaigns to clients & other stakeholders
    • Build relationships with bankers and other internal stakeholders to understand what messages are most relevant to intended audiences
    • Engage with senior executives to promote strategic initiatives, and increase awareness of digital offerings for the company and clients

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 3+ years’ experience in communications at an agency, in-house, or both
    • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple time-sensitive projects under tight deadlines
    • Exceptional Powerpoint skills and the ability to translate executive feedback into presentations
    • Superb written communication and copy-editing skills
    • Experience generating direct marketing content is a plus
    • Meticulous attention to detail and organizational abilities
    • Ability to work effectively and manage relationships with all levels of management; strong interpersonal skills and work ethic
    • Deep understanding of corporate and product communications
    • Flexible to work extended hours and occasional weekend days as needed
    • Ability to move quickly and adapt to changing needs frequently

    Physical/Mental Requirements: 

    • Vision must be sufficient to read data reports, manuals and computer screens.
    • Hearing must be sufficient to understand a conversation at a normal volume, including telephone calls and in person.
    • Speech must be coherent to clearly convey or exchange information, including the giving and receiving of assignments and/or directions.
    • Position involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
    • Must be able to travel in a limited capacity.
