    The Digital Intelligence and Analytics Manager is responsible for maintaining First Republic’s overall social media listening program, ongoing competitive analysis, scheduled and real-time reporting, research and business development activities. This is a key role in helping to identify the impact of consumer sentiment on First Republic business and the financial industry as a whole while leveraging these insights to grow, promote and protect the First Republic Bank brand.

    Responsibilities

    RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

    • On a daily basis leverage leading industry social listening tools to monitor the publicly available social media conversations about the brand, competitor brands, the industry and related adjunct news and events from external (not owned) social media channels and report insights back to the business through manual and automated alerts.
    • Utilizing the insights discovered through daily listening, produce bi-weekly and monthly reports covering First Republic, competitors and prioritized focus subject areas that are determined by key stakeholders.
    • Use social intelligence tools and other digital research methodologies to produce tailor-made research reports on topics and themes that are a priority for internal clients. These reports are by request and require understanding the objectives of the stakeholders and delivering actionable insights that are informative and directional and in a format that is easily consumed by those who may not be social media practitioners.
    • Support the sub-functional teams within the Marketing department with their exploratory efforts in the area of influencer marketing. Applying current and relevant expertise in this area, in combination with leveraging social media intelligence data, to provide insights and recommendations that will arm internal clients with directional guidance.
    • Lead regular occurring and ad-hoc meetings with each line-of-business for the purpose of understanding their ongoing and changing goals and objectives in order to strategize, plan and execute Digital
    • Intelligence team research deliverables that add value and impact to the LOB’s efforts.
    • Assist in managing partnerships and regular communications with Information Security, Corporate Security and Bank Security with a focus on identifying potential cyber and physical risks that could impact First Republic Bank, its employees or its clients.
    • Manage Digital Intelligence’s internal online presence. This includes regular updating of the team web page by publishing all reports and research along with informative content (curated or created) that educates colleagues on a variety of topics and themes that relate to First Republic Bank business or the financial industry.
    • Assist with social media business development programs and projects with the purpose of uncovering opportunities for bankers to enrich current client relationships and identification of new potential business. Requires knowledge of using social selling solutions and familiarity with customized prospect mapping.
    • Contribute to existing daily, weekly and monthly Top Trending Topic Trend reports within specific social media ecosystems. Reports inform Marketing Managers as to what kind / type of collateral and general marketing materials to create as well as influences First Republic Bank hosted events. Must have experience with reporting automation and background in creating new and innovative reporting practices.
    • Performs duties & responsibilities specific to department functions & activities.
    • Performs other duties & responsibilities as required or assigned by supervisor.
    • Responsibilities include the following: 1) adhering to and complying with all applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to Anti- Money Laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, etc.), 2) adhering to Bank policies and procedures, 3) completing required training, 4) identifying and reporting potential suspicious activity to the BSA/AML Officer, and 5) knowing and verifying the identity of any customer(s) that enters into a relationship with the Bank.

    Qualifications

    KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

    • 7-10 years’ minimum experience working with social media intelligence tools, including but not limited to social media listening, social selling and social media business development platforms
    • Fluent in social listening and familiar with popular and emerging social intelligence platforms
    • Confidence in learning new systems and tools
    • Execute social listening research and measurement assignments with minimal supervision
    • Self-starter who is able to thrive independently and build strong working relationships with colleagues who are predominately in offices in other regions
    • Demonstrates a strong interest in and understanding of social media metrics and trends
    • Seasoned digital marketer with a strong business acumen
    • Thinks strategically with the ability to tell a story that converts data into actionable insights
    • Comfortable presenting social intelligence to audiences with varying levels of social media experience
    • Strong analytical skills a must
    • Experience with social selling preferred

    MENTAL/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • The ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions; understand the meanings of words and respond effectively; and perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly.
    • Vision must be sufficient to read data reports, manuals and computer screens.
    • Hearing must be sufficient to understand a conversation at a normal volume, including telephone calls and in person.
    • Speech must be coherent to clearly convey or exchange information, including the giving and receiving of assignments and/or directions.
    • Position involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
    • Must be able to travel as position requires.
    • May be required to lift 25-50lbs.
