This part-time, temporary position will assist a residential loan production unit with processing and manufacturing residential loan files in a timely manner. Attention to detail, strong time management skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks are critical skills for this position. Prior banking or mortgage experience is helpful, but not required.
This temporary position is needed through Septempber 30th. Weekly work hours will be 20 - 40 hours depending upon loan volume and expected completion timeframes.
60% of weekly tasks will include receiving and cataloguing certain loan due diligence documents, then uploading these documents into an imaging system;
25% of weekly tasks will include follow-up with related business partners and vendors in order to advance loan files through a defined loan process workflow;
15% of weekly tasks will include working with the residential loan production unit on other tasks related to processing and manufacturing residential loan files
Responsibilities include the following: 1) adhering to and complying with the applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to Anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.) 2) adhering to Bank policies and procedures, 3) completing required training, 4) identifying and reporting suspicious activity to the AML Officer, and 5) knowing and verifying the identity of any customer(s) that enters into a relationship with the Bank.
