    We are seeking a Lead Experience Architect with a strong UX, information architecture and interaction design background. Your curiosity, love of learning, and enthusiasm for applying your knowledge to technical solutions will be cornerstone to your UX architecture practice. Additionally, you will be energized by UX challenges and excited by technical complexity.

     

    In this role, you will use your passion for developing scalable digital products with thoughtfully architected foundations to create world-class user experiences. Your work will shape the direction of our quickly developing user-centered technology practice and expound upon the incredible value that digital tools and data can bring to an enterprise in a shifting marketplace.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Create inspiring, immersive and innovative ideas for our digital experience across the entire lifecycle/multiple launches within timeline and scope.

    • Ground ideas and concepts into technical configurations and foundations, bridging the gap between UX strategies and technical realities.

    • Strategize, develop, and define key features for one or more digital properties.

    • Conduct market research, user-centered research, and translate insights and findings into wireframes, concept diagrams and prototypes

       

    • Work in an agile methodology to efficiently build, test, reframe and launch features and digital tools. Incorporate iterative design and data-driven enhancements into sprints.

    • Define and create site architecture and UX design according to usability best practices, device standards, and most importantly, user tested data and company standards.

    • Leverage data and research to into product evaluations, usability audits, product improvement analysis, and research processes.

    • Present and effectively communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale and the specifics of user-centered design process.

    • Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams including Engineering, Development, Design, Content Admins, Marketing and Banking stakeholders, and external agencies.

    • Author, iterate, and maintain documentation including storyboards, flows, architecture, prototypes etc.

    • Translate abstract ideas and requirements into tangible deliverables. See technical solutions through from concept to final implementation.

    • Responsibilities include the following: 1) adhering to and complying with all applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, etc.), 2) adhering to Bank policies and procedures, 3) completing required training, 4) identifying and reporting potential suspicious activity to the BSA/AML Officer, and 5) knowing and verifying the identity of any customer(s) that enters into a relationship with the Bank.

    Qualifications

    • B.A. or B.S. degree from accredited university
    • M.A. or M.S. nice to have
    • 5-7 years working in software or product development in an Information Architecture, UX design, and/or UX research role.
    • 3-5 years participating in build of applications, websites, or SaaS, through multiple launches or experience shipping products to market.
    • Experience in designing structure and taxonomy of content management systems.
    • Knowledgeable in Sketch, Invision, Adobe, and other wireframing and prototyping tools.
    • Experience working with cross-functional teams, specifically Development, QA, Business, and Data teams.
    • Experience in working directly with users to identify opportunities, pain points, and experience gaps to inform product development. Experience in ethnographic or tradition UX research methods.
    • Experience in creating digital tools that collect data
    • Experience in analyzing usability data to assess product functionality, strategic execution, and ROI.
    • Experience presenting ideas and work to broad audiences.

    PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Vision must be sufficient to read data reports, manuals and computer screens.
    • Hearing must be sufficient to understand a conversation at a normal volume, including telephone calls and in person.
    • Speech must be coherent to clearly convey or exchange information, including the giving and receiving of assignments and/or directions.
    • Position involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
    • Must be able to travel in a limited capacity.
