    Responsibilities for the Associate for First Republic Private Wealth Management (PWM) Business Administration include: interacting with clients, prospects, employees and prospective employees, preparing meeting materials, scheduling meetings and appointments, making travel arrangements, preparing correspondence and handling special projects as assigned.


    The position will interact with PWM Executive Managers and Executive Assistants, Clients and Prospective Clients, Senior Wealth Management Professionals and prospective new Senior Wealth Management Professional hires, Bankers and Regional Banking Leaders, Prospective Employees and other functional groups. The position will be trained to fill in as needed for a variety of additional functions.


    • Prepare meeting agenda and materials including PowerPoint presentations and recording of meeting minutes as requested
    • Assist in oversight of office and facilities management for PWM in San Francisco including space planning
    • Lead and manage special projects as they arise on behalf of PWM Senior Management including new hire training programs and learning and development programs
    • Assist with writing and distribution of business policy communications
    • Assist with creation and distribution of management reports on PWM financial results
    • Coordinate and arrange meeting logistics (conference room reservation, voice and video connection)
    • Assist with the recruiting and integration of new hires
    • Order office and marketing supplies and create marketing materials
    • Answer and redirect incoming phone calls and organize incoming mail
    • Lead event and catering arrangements as requested
    • Interface directly with all levels of external clients and prospects as well as internal team members
    • Perform duties and responsibilities specific to department functions & activities
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by supervisor
    • Maintain a flexible work schedule

    Responsibilities include the following:  1) adhering to and complying with the applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to Anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.) 2) adhering to Bank policies and procedures, 3) completing required training,  4) identifying and reporting suspicious activity to the AML Officer, and 5) knowing and verifying the identity of any customer(s) that enters into a relationship with the Bank.



    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional customer service orientation, and ability to pay close attention to detail and accuracy
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Adept at Microsoft Office applications
    • Ability to independently translate conceptual direction into succinct communications
    • Hard-working, willing to work extra hours as necessary, and able to thrive in a fast paced environment
    • Ability to navigate organizational infrastructure to solve or resolve problems
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
    • Understanding of Banking and Wealth Management


    • Vision must be sufficient to read data reports, manuals and computer screens.
    • Hearing must be sufficient to understand a conversation at a normal volume, including telephone calls and in person.
    • Speech must be coherent to clearly convey or exchange information, including the giving and receiving of assignments and/or directions.
    • Position involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
    • May be required to travel in a limited capacity.
