The Trade Operations team provides middle office support to help investment professionals and clients meet their financial goals.


    The Operations Associate is primarily responsible for supporting all functions related to trade operations and settlements including trade break resolution for First Republic Securities and First Republic Investment Management. The First Republic Investment Management Associate will also be the liaison between PWM’s Centralized Trading Team, the middle and back office support groups in San Francisco, New York, and other principal locations. The position requires attention to detail, a high level of followthrough with PWM investment professionals, brokers, custodians and client service associates. This is an extremely high risk area. The individual must be a team player, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.



    Help trade operations team monitor and resolve all trade breaks. Liaise with brokers and custodians to allocate trades, resolve trade discrepancies and ensure timely trade settlement. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by supervisor which may include special projects. Ensure compliance with both internal and regulatory policy and procedures.

    Educational and Experience Requirements:

    • 1 to 3 years of financial services experiences at a brokerage firm or registered investment
    • advisor/manager
    • Knowledge of trade cycles, comparisons and breaks, and settlements
    • Experience with Advent products preferable
    • 4 year college degree with a business concentration
    • Series 7 license, a plus
    • Proficient in Excel and Word
