    The Regulatory Corporate Technology team within Information Services is looking for an Oracle ERP Application Engineer. In this role, you will serve as a technical liaison for ERP Systems for project teams as well as functional, technical and operational teams. This position will work with the impacted business areas which include Accounting, Finance, Project Management Office (PMO) and Information Services to manage the technical activities associated with the Oracle EBS and Hyperion suite installed at First Republic Bank. This position will also work with Oracle Managed Cloud Services (OMCS) to insure that all activities are coordinated between Oracle, internal support teams and various vendors to maintain an acceptable level of systems and program availability.

     

    The ERP Application Engineer will have technical ownership of applications that support Finance and Accounting operations, including integrations. They will serve as a technical lead/liaison for all ERP related projects as well as a technical point of contact with Oracle Managed Support and Oracle Managed Cloud Services. This position will be responsible for leading the functional/technical designs, configuration, developing solutions and supporting multiple modules/applications within the Oracle e_Business suite. The ideal candidate will possess a deep and broad understanding of Information Technology best practices and processes.

     

    • Serves at technical lead/liason for all ERP application or database projects for internal FRB technical teams and as a technical point-of-contact for Oracle Managed Support and Oracle Managed Cloud Services (OMCS). 
    • Responsible for the review and approval of all RFC's which are promoted into the test and production environments. This includes the review and approval of all technical documentation associated with the change.
    • Serves as key technical resource in the design and development of  new interfaces/extensions, and interacts with external vendors for inbound/outbound interface file exchange. Coordindates with business and Operations teams to ensure all Oracle interfaces are configured, tested and working properly.
    • Serves as key technical resource between Information Services and the Business, Oracle Support and OMCS (Oracle Managed Cloud Services) for Service Requests and problem resolution.
    • Works with the business and Access Identity Management to determine and identify security access for Application Support, Tech Support and end-user access to the applications.
    • Coordinates and supports the scheduling of  Refresh and Maintenance activities for Oracle EBS and Hyperion.
    • Supports Information Security on compliance, audits, and security initiatives. Supports change control and internal audits.
    • Manages Oracle OnDemand Instance strategy and operations

     

    KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

    • Candidate must be experienced with the Oracle EBS Platform and understand the integration into all EBS modules from a technical perspective
    • Has a strong understanding of information systems, business processes, the key drivers and measures of success for the relevant business
    • Drive best practices for the ERP modules to be audit and SOX compliant
    • Proficient in PL/SQL, Unix, Forms, Java, AOL Tools and FND Objects, OA Framework, Job Scheduling, SFTP/File transfer protocols, Networks, Desktop Support, Oracle Power user
    • Supports the process of translating business needs into formal deliverables
    • Proven ability to build strong, cohesive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Strong sense of prioritization and execution against critical deliverables, coupled with a sense of personal ownership for key projects / issue resolution

    Ideal candidate will possess:

    • BS/BE degree in Engineering, Information Technology or Computer Science
    • 5 – 7 years of experience required in Oracle Applications in a Technical/Functional role
    • Proficient knowledge of oracle functional modules which include General Ledger, Accounts Payable, fixed Assets, Cash management, Human Resource, Payroll, Projects, Procure-to-Pay and Hyperion/Essbase
    • Proficient in PL/SQL, Unix, Forms, Java, AOL Tools and FND Objects, OA Framework, Job Scheduling, SFTP/File transfer protocols, Networks, Desktop Support, Oracle Power user
    • 5+ years of progressive experience within Waterfall and Agile Methodologies

    MENTAL/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • The ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions; understand the meanings of words and respond effectively; and perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly.
    • Vision must be sufficient to read data reports, manuals and computer screens.
    • Hearing must be sufficient to understand a conversation at a normal volume, including telephone calls and in person.
    • Speech must be coherent to clearly convey or exchange information, including the giving and receiving of assignments and/or directions.
    • Position involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
    • Must be able to travel as position requires.
    • May be required to lift 25-50lbs.
