    About the Role:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and impact driven leader to spearhead and evolve the marketing analytics function at Eagle Lending. This role will drive the critical balancing act of investing in depth versus breadth when it comes to building analytics capabilities. These are exciting times for us - the organization is in hyper growth mode and the Senior Manager of Marketing Analytics will play a leadership role in creating the foundation to  support the Marketing function for the Eagle Lending department. This person will likely have 1-2 direct reports and needs to be higly driven to make a difference. Being able to balance talent/skills with sound judgement to make the appropriate business decisions is also a critical for the role. Eagle Lending is leading the bank on how to leverage data and technology to acquire and engage the next generation of First Republic clients.  

     

    Responsibilities

    • Marketing Analytics Framework:  Create a comprehensive and pragmatic framework for the marketing analytics needs of the organization to support the business goals
    • Performance Marketing Analytics – Specific to digital marketing, optimize the performance spend and provide direction to media partners as needed. Needs to have strong understanding of marketing mix modelling, as well as data driven recommendations and insights for sales funnel optimization 
    • Multi-Channel Analytics (Performance/ Offline) – Provide actionable insights to optimize and grow the channels for higher return and appropriate sequencing. This would span both digital and offline channels
    • Data Visualization/ BI: Being able to drive the creation of Tableau reports by working with the appropriate team. Lead creation of KPI/ Customized Dashboards – define what the business needs look like and convert it into self-service reporting tools. There is a BI team but this person may need to build their own reports at times
    • Data Orchestration, Wrangling and Extracts:  When applicable - work with the data engineering team to source the data needed to support and optimize marketing campaigns. This may sometimes mean stitching together data sources that may be spread across multiple data channels
    • Drive Predictive Modeling – As needed, being able to drive and oversee data scientist team and contribute predictive models (Can be Machine Learning)
    • Future Marketing Needs: Ability to convert Marketing vision into data requirements and work with the data team to bring in additional data points

    Qualifications

    • BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, Statistics or related quantitative field
    • 4+ years of relevant experience; 2+ years of experience managing and leading data, analytics or business intelligence teams
    • 2+ Years of dedicated experience in performance marketing analytics and optimization
    • Experience using statistical analysis software and database communicators (SAS, SPSS, SQL)
    • Programming experience in one or more of the following: Java, Python, R, and/or C/C++
    • Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units
    • Advanced Tableau coding skills with a track record of developing visualizations that drive and optimize business outcomes
