    In Business Banking, we provide comprehensive depository, cash management and lending services to a diverse group of businesses throughout our communities. We are primarily focused on meeting the needs of professional service firms — doctors, lawyers, accountants, investment managers and consultants of all kinds — as well as those in industries such as private equity, venture capital, technology, wine, aviation, marine and non-profit.

    As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the Business Banking team while coordinating all client events for the office.   

     

     

    What you'll do as an Administrative Assistant:

    • Greet clients, prospects and visitors.
    • Manage all logistics for external and internal events within the Business Banking team, while working closely with Marketing.
    • Assist in project management related to sales and relationship-development opportunities.
    • Maintain Senior Managing Director calendars, including handling all the scheduling and arranging meeting space and video conference logistics.
    • Assist with project-based work, including research as appropriate.
    • Make all travel arrangements for Business Bankers.
    • Maintain and process expense receipts and reports.
    • Handle general clerical duties, including answering telephones, handling the mail, making copies and scans, and filing, preparing documents and uploading documentation to proper sources, including shared networks and/or programs.
    • Assist with mailings through Mail Merge and creating labels 

     

    You could be a great fit if you have:

    • High school diploma or the equivalent, along with three to five years of administrative experience
    • Proficiency in Concur, the Microsoft Office suite of programs and social media platforms
    • The ability to work well both individually and within the team
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • The ability to prioritize multiple duties and responsibilities and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented and highly organized
    • A personality that is energetic, professional, approachable and entrepreneurial
    • Excellent intuition and judgement, with the ability to handle sensitive information with high confidentiality
    • An orientation toward being a team player and providing extraordinary service while furthering the First Republic Bank culture and values
    • The ability to cover expected overtime due to event coverage or client and project needs

    Job Demands:

    • Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals; must be computer proficient.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and in person.
    • May be required to lift 25-50lbs.
