    As part of the Information Services team, the Wealth Management Technology Team drives the vision to create an industry leading, client-centric wealth technology experience. The team is looking for forward thinking, action oriented individuals to help drive the implementation of innovative, cutting-edge solutions. 

    This position reports to a Program Manager of Wealth Management Technology and supports the development and implementation of Wealth Management's technology roadmap. This role has a key responsibility to ensure that our client experience within Wealth Management maintains the highest standards of the Bank. 

    The Business Analyst works with subject matter experts from the user community to determine data requirements for the PWM Ecosystem domain, translates these requirements into Epics and Stories with functional specifications and assists in detailing data flow design documents, and participates in the full development process life-cycle from concept through testing, implementation, and support using the Agile development methodology. This includes identifying necessary data fields - where they flow and how frequently, communicating standard calculation logic and business term definition, establishing data quality rules, writing and execute data quality checks, researching and analyzing data in support of business functions, process and workflow knowledge, systems requirements, including the security and data retention requirements of corporate systems, and user acceptance testing.


    What you will do as a ECO Business Analyst, Contingent: 

    • Collaborate with Product Management, business and technology partners to jointly identify business needs required to deliver the next generation of wealth management technology solutions.
    • Conduct interviews with a broad audience to define business requirements and translate into technical epics and stories in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers and the larger project team
    • Develop and communicate process changes, enhancements, and modifications – verbally and through written documentation – to management, peers, staff, and other employees so that issues and solutions are understood.
    • Write and execute data quality checks to:
      • Ensure that all and only the expected records appear.
      • Ensure that calculated values are correct.
      • Ensure that abnormal/edge causes are handled as expected.
      • Ensure that all values fall within expected range.
      • Check null value handling, etc.
    • Communicate standard calculation logic and business term definition
    • Establish best practices and data quality rules benefiting all aspects of the business.
    • Work closely with technology and vendor partners to debug data issues
    • Actively engage with the agile team/s to help determine the best technical implementation.
    • Communicate results and insights with project teams and stakeholders (e.g., through live presentations and ongoing analysis/reports)


    Job Demands

    • Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals; must be computer proficient.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and in person.
