    Research Analyst, Risk and Asset Allocation

    The Quantitative Research Analyst is responsible for conducting quantitative analytics and modeling that support the asset allocation and risk management team on a wide array of analytics. In addition, support senior management and peers with a broad range of periodic and ad-hoc analytics.

     

    What you’ll be doing as a Quantitative Research Analyst

    • Support Risk and Asset Allocation framework analytics
    • Support senior management and colleagues with quantitative analytics
    • Monitor and maintain risk models
    • Research and identify market trend

     

    You could be a great fit if you have:

    • Working experience with programming and database, e.g. R, Python, SQL and MatLab
    • Proficient working with data within an Investment Management environment
    • Strong quantitative investment research and portfolio analysis skillset
    • Proficient in the use of financial data systems, portfolio analysis and asset allocation tools
    • In depth knowledge of macro-economics and capital markets
    • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to self-audit own work
    • Proven ability to multi-task in a dynamic team environment and prioritize effectively
    • Strong and effective communication and presentation skillset with the ability to present complex analytics simply
    • Interact effectively with all levels of management as well as with the broader team
    • Strong interpersonal skills

    Job Demands:

    • Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals; must be computer proficient.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and in person.
