    In Lending Services, we document and fund all loans for First Republic. We’re responsible for servicing bank and investor loan portfolios, as well as responding to client and loan team inquiries. The team also supports sales staff in workflow processes, product development, training and compliance. Additionally, we support lending-based systems and vendors and manage technology projects across First Republic product lines.

    As the Talent & Development Analyst, you will be responsible for building, implementing, and maintaining programs that address leadership and development, colleague development, and engagement. Leveraging your strong analytical and strategic skills in the arena of leadership development and other professional development, you will assess the needs of Lending Services managers and colleagues across teams.  You will work in close partnership with key business leaders as well as the Strategic Services team and other L&D professionals across the Bank to design and deliver targeted learning solutions for managers and colleagues with a focus on leadership and career development.  You will also partner closely with Lending Services leadership to develop career paths for high potential colleagues and managers and to provide learning solutions that foster engagement, address team dynamics and create a strong leadership bench.   You will also have the exciting opportunity to utilize and hone your strong coaching and facilitation skills to lead programs, deliver workshops, and ensure long-term success of learning and development programs.

     

    What you’ll do as a Talent & Development Analyst:

    • Continually assess team dynamics, promising talent, and leadership performance throughout Lending Services to identify developmental needs of Lending Services staff and leaders
    • Provide guidance and resources for Managers to maintain and sustain learning and development accomplishments among team members
    • Provide coaching and consulting expertise in order to successfully guide Lending Services colleagues and managers in ongoing development beyond learning events
    • Design reporting and feedback infrastructure for all developmental programs in order to monitor efficacy and ROI – report on program performance to senior Lending Services management
    • Provide support to Lending Services teams by actively participating in projects that support department needs
    • Perform duties and responsibilities specific to department functions and activities or as assigned by supervisor
    • Responsibilities include the following: 1) adhering to and complying with all applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, etc.), 2) adhering to Bank policies and procedures, 3) completing required training, 4) identifying and reporting potential suspicious activity to the BSA/AML Officer, and 5) knowing and verifying the identity of any customer(s) that enters into a relationship with the Bank

     

    You could be a great fit if you have:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required
    • Must possess 3-5 years of experience in leadership/professional development training and coaching
    • 2-3 years of experience in lending operations or related field preferred
    • Must possess strong working knowledge of MS Office
    • Must be a proactive individual able to operate efficiently in a fast paced environment and lead initiatives
    • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Must possess demonstrated skills in organization and strong attention to detail
    • Must be a quick learner and ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Must possess the ability to build and maintain relationships with staff at various levels of seniority
    • Must further the First Republic Bank culture and values

    Job Demands:

    • Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals; must be computer proficient.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and in person.
