    Organizational Objective/Purpose:

    First Republic Investment Management (FRIM) is a Registered Investment Adviser and a wholly owned subsidiary of First Republic Bank. FRIM has an affiliated Broker-Dealer (First Republic Securities Company LLC).  The Compliance Department provides advice and guidance to our business partners regarding the applicability of rules and regulations, advice on policies, procedures and controls, compliance monitoring and assistance with supervisory reviews in order to ensure compliance with all federal and state securities laws and regulations. 

     

    Overview:

    The Compliance Intern will assist the Compliance Department in its efforts to provide advice and guidance to our business partners regarding the applicability of rules and regulations, advice on policies, procedures and controls, compliance monitoring and assistance with supervisory reviews in order to ensure compliance with all federal and state securities laws and regulations.

     

    What you’ll do as an Intern:

    • Perform general compliance projects and tasks such as:
      • Performing portfolio compliance reviews
      • Performing optimization assessment and quality-checking tasks
      • Reviewing business unit policies and procedures
      • Researching rules and regulations
