    The Digital Channels team is responsible for client focused digital experiences that support our Consumer Private Banking, Corporate, and Private Wealth Management businesses. We are seeking a dynamic, organized leader to play a key role in supporting these efforts amidst the rapidly changing digital servicing and sales landscape.

    The Senior Product Manager - Digital Channels is responsible for conception, delivery, maintenance and evolution of the Bank’s consumer banking products. This individual will be responsible for several key products within the consumer digital banking area and will work closely with other lines of business and cross-functional teams within First Republic for end-to-end delivery of new functionality across multiple platforms (desktop, mobile, etc.).


    This role will involve a combination of working on digital strategy and new product initiatives, day-to-day support activities, engagement with bankers and clients and project related activities. While strategic thinking and coordination are important elements of this role, this individual will be required to take an active role leading and directly contributing to requirements, design, testing, deliverable preparation and other related activities.


    This role will work directly with the VP, Consumer Digital Banking within the Digital Channels team at First Republic.

     

    What you'll do as a Senior Product Manager

    • Provide day-to-day oversight, management, and reporting of products under management.

    • Lead product releases or significant components of releases and create sound user stories, act as a leader of cross functional teams, provide oversight of technology outputs, oversee quality assurance testing process, and conduct user acceptance testing.

    • Develop deep understanding of clients’ use of online banking and mobile channels by actively engaging with clients, the First Republic Sales teams, and other lines of business

    • Keep abreast of competitive products and industry trends, and look to incorporate relevant products within our digital ecosystem starting with pilots/proof of concepts to launching them into production.

    • Optimize the services of our partnered vendors by effectively managing the relationships and their deliverables.

    • Define and analyze metrics that provide insight into the success of your products and utilize these metrics effectively for key product decisions

    • Perform duties & responsibilities specific to department functions & activities.

    • Performs other duties & responsibilities as required or assigned by supervisor.

    • Responsibilities include the following: 1) adhering to and complying with the applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to Anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.) 2) adhering to Bank policies and procedures, 3) completing required training, 4) identifying and reporting suspicious activity to the AML Officer, and 5) knowing and verifying the identity of any customer(s) that enters into a relationship with the Bank.

     

     

     

    You could be a great fit if you have:

    • Deep experience with Product Management and, ideally financial services, specifically Consumer Banking

    • Experience soliciting, gathering, analyzing, user input and user stories

    • Expertise in software implementation projects using Agile

    • Ability to work across multiple internal stakeholders, business areas, and external providers to develop a roadmap and deliver high quality solutions (Full Lifecycle ownership from

      ideation through to implementation and support.)

    • Ability to look at key client needs along with the latest technology trends impacting the financial services/fintech space.

    • A strong team player and leader with excellent planning and managerial skills.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to deliver presentations across the firm.

    • Undergraduate degree required
    • 10+ years of product management experience required, digital based services preferred
      5+ years of experience in banking and/or consumer digital experience required

    • Implementation and execution focused with hands-on, ‘roll up your sleeves’ experience

    Job Demands:
