    The Client Service Operations Associate on the Service Excellence and Loyalty (SEAL) team is the liaison between the Client Service Associate and the various departments involved in account opening and maintenance.  Outside of First Republic, SEAL members work closely with various custodians and funds for account opening, maintenance & subscriptions to alternative investments. Within First Republic, SEAL works closely with compliance, technology, and the alternative investments department to facilitate transaction and reconciliation between various alternative funds and custodians.  Members gain foundational knowledge in how the Wealth Management business works from the inside out. This role is primarily located in Palo Alto and will spend 1-2 days per week in San Francisco.

     

    What you’ll do as a Client Service Operations Associate:

    • Generate New Account paperwork and process signed paperwork
    • Pre-fill Private Placement Document (Alternative investments) and process signed documents
    • Customer-Relationship Management (CRM) data entry
    • Maintain/reconcile differences between custodian & CRM
    • Maintain files for compliance – including Know Your Customer (KYC) creation and maintenance
    • Work with custodians to ensure timely account opening
    • Provide continuous status updates and communication with associates
    • Process Assets Held Away for performance reporting data or trading groups

    • Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy and consistency; takes ownership of work product
    • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field, or equivalent experience
    • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills to interface with clients, prospects, custodians and colleagues
    • Considerable tact and discretion when dealing with clients and sensitive data
    • The ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced, sales-oriented environment; proven ability to handle pressure
    • Good communication skills
    • Thrives in a team environment

    Job Demands:

    • Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals; must be computer proficient.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and in person.
