    As a Client Service Associate, you’ll serve as the first point of contact for clients or prospects. You’ll be called upon to provide a wide range of sales, service, administrative and relationship management support to assigned wealth advisors and investment professionals across our teams.

     

    You should expect to hold the Associate position for 18-24 months, during which time you will be evaluated on the impact of your contributions, taking on more responsibilities as you acquire the necessary skills to eventually advance to a more senior role. Our team operates as a meritocracy and incentivizes leadership, initiative, and “out-of-the-box” thinking.

     

    What you’ll do as a Client Service Associate:

    • Support Wealth Managers by providing service and support functions such as portfolio analysis, account creation and maintenance, money movement, and client/prospect meeting preparation 
    • Construct client performance and asset allocation reports along with recommended portfolio changes, communicate with clients on both a scheduled or an ad-hoc basis regularly regarding performance of their portfolios
    • Collaborate with fellow team members to provide exceptional service and devise customized financial strategies for existing and prospective clients
    • Interact with clients, supporting all aspects of their servicing needs related to the management of their relationship, researching client inquiries and managing follow up communication and materials
    • Enter trades on behalf of the client, either alone or at the direction of another team member
    • Participate in client meetings to learn the business and add value as the Associate acquires client-facing skills
    • Perform research on the greater equity and fixed income markets on a weekly basis and report observations back to the team and Portfolio Manager to help drive portfolio construction
    • Spend time with our alternative investments research team, learning about more complex investments in order to effectively communicate the nature of these investments to our clients to drive participation
    • Engage actively in prospecting efforts, analyzing outside portfolios for potential new clients and constructing effective presentations and materials to help the team win new business

     

     

    You could be a great fit if you have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field, or equivalent experience
    • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills to interface with clients, prospects, custodians and colleagues
    • Considerable tact and discretion when dealing with clients and sensitive data
    • The ability to work independently under minimal supervision
    • The ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced, sales-oriented environment; proven ability to handle pressure
    • Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy and consistency
    • Natural curiosity about financial markets and investing
    • The desire to work with a high performing team consistently ranked near the top of the industry

    Job Demands:

    • Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals; must be computer proficient.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and in person.
    • May be required to lift 25-50lbs.
